Organic, delicious and full of character. A best-buy Mediterranean red from one of the leading names in our Spanish selection, Telmo Rodríguez. Over the past 30 years, he has travelled across Spain from top to bottom; 355 parcels, a total of 80 hectares of vines and 43 local grape varieties have passed through his hands. Every one of his estates is built around unpretentious, authentic wines that express their terroir.

Al-Muvedre is the only wine in the selection that comes from the eastern coast of the peninsula. The defining grape variety here in Alicante is Monastrell (pronounced: monastray). The harvest is carried out exclusively by hand from certified organic, bush-trained vineyards, followed by spontaneous fermentation in tank and ageing in the same vessels for six months. The most important characteristics of its unique profile are deeply spicy aromas, a warm and full-bodied structure, and a subtly dusty sensation that lingers at the end of the palate. A full-bodied wine, yet one that still moves with light feet.
