Camins 2018

A Mars-like location that can hardly be cultivated by machines, with slatey, stony hillsides and scarce vegetation. Since there’s hardly any rain, the old bush vines search for water at a depth of 20-30 metres. That’s where the little sibling of L’Ermita – Camins – was born, harvested from younger, ‘only’ 40-year-old vines. 60% of it is comprised of two out and out Priorat varieties – Garnacha and Carignan, while the smaller part is Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. A lighter wine with a fruity structure, which is appealing and vibrant.

Deep ruby colour, intense black fruit on the nose, then a medley of plum, eucalyptus, exotic spices, blackcurrant and caramel. Medium-bodied with velvety tannins.
