Earlier, some Spanish wineries used to make two types of wine every year: the vintage wine and a wine without vintage that was called ‘Reserva Especial’, which was always blended from the best vintages. With this wine, Vega Sicilia wishes to preserve this Spanish tradition and also with the best Unicó vintages, the aim is for the wine of the different years to balance each other perfectly and the outcome should equal elegance. It’s an exceptional wine that’s concentrated, layered, balanced and long. It gives a unique experience every year. The Unico Reserva Especial ‘2020’ was bottled from 59 barrels, including the 2008, 2009 and 2010 vintages.
